EU Learning Partnership

During the weekend of December 11 through 13, the Women’s Museum participated in the first of a number of European meetings. The purpose of these meetings is to strengthen the role that female experience plays for European understanding of history and politics. The meeting took place in Bonn. The funds for the partnership project are provided by the EU programme “Grundvig” about lifelong learning.

The other partners in the project are from Germany, Greece, Bulgaria and Estonia.

The next meeting will take place in Athens in April 2010, after which the partners will visit the Women’s Museum in September. In 2011 the meetings will take place in Sofia and Tallinn.
