| Scrappy Art
16. October - 30. December 2009
On the occasion of the climate conference, pictorial artists Grete Lis Hansen, Suzan Post Pedersen and Lin van Roe present their take on how to make scrap look good. The three artists have engaged in recycling and scrap as well as new shapes and colouring old things before.
The exhibition is shown at the museum ‘square’. Here are works made from discarded handbags, broken mirrors, worn-down scrubbing brushes, animated chairs, t-shirts with personal references, arrangement with greetings to the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost – and much more. Come and have a look. Children in particular can be inspired to use things in new ways.
The exhibition is a selection from a larger collection of litter art from Galllery Bawhouse, which is part of the Women’s House in Copenhagen.
