Women’s lives from prehistoric to present time

Artefacts and pictures illustrate women’s lives from the early beginning of civilization to our own time. Recurrent themes in the exhibition are birth, work, learning and everyday life as well as power and powerlessness.

In small glimpses you will encounter historical portraits of distinct women and of the women’s movements which have participated in changing our history and circumstances. The entire exhibition only takes up app. 100 m2.
